STONKS stakers drop
A creator can reserve part of a new Elysium token for STONKS stakers on BNB Chain. It is optional and set at launch: 0% (no drop) up to 10%, in steps of 0.5%.
How it works
- The drop comes out of the fixed 1,000,000,000 supply. A 5% drop is 50,000,000 tokens, held by the token's drop contract; the curve and the pool share the rest 80 / 20 (a 5% drop: curve 76%, pool 19%). Graduation stays at the same HYPE amount for every drop.
- Right after the launch StonksPad takes a snapshot of the STONKS staking contract on BNB Chain at the latest finalized block: every staker and their staked amount.
- The snapshot becomes a merkle root that is published on the drop contract on Elysium. The snapshot file is pinned to IPFS and linked from the token page, so anyone can recompute the root from the staking contract's state at that block.
- Each staker's share is pro rata to their stake at the snapshot, on Elysium, at the same address they stake with on BNB Chain.
- 10,000 tokens or more: sent directly to your wallet on Elysium by StonksPad, soon after the root is published. Nothing to do and no gas to pay. The CLAIM page shows "Sent to your wallet" with the transaction.
- Below 10,000 tokens: claimed on the CLAIM page, as before.
- An address that is a contract on BNB Chain (an exchange, a multisig, a Safe) is never sent to: whoever controls that address on Elysium can claim it.
- The claim window is 30 days from the root. Whatever is not claimed or sent by then is burned: StonksPad's keeper burns it, and anyone else can too. If no root is published within 7 days of the launch, the whole allocation is burned the same way.
What the drop contract can do
- It cannot sell. It has no function that trades, and no one can take tokens out of it: only stakers' shares leave it, each to the staker's own address and only once, whether the staker claims it or StonksPad sends it. No token fee applies to either: the staker gets the exact amount in the snapshot.
- What is unclaimed after 30 days is burned to the dead address.
- The token page lists it apart from the holders, as locked, with the date the claim window ends.
The same address
Shares go to the same address you staked with on BNB Chain, whether sent or claimed. A stake held through an exchange or a multisig may not be claimable: the snapshot sees the exchange's or the multisig's address, and that address would have to claim on Elysium.
Good to know
- A share that is sent costs you no gas. Claiming a smaller share needs a little HYPE on Elysium for gas, paid by the wallet that claims. Bring it on the Bridge & Transfer page coming soon. StonksPad does not pay this gas for wallets you connect; it tops up a StonksPad (X login) wallet that is short, within its limits.
- Drop tokens are normal tokens. A claimer can hold or sell them like any other holder.
- The drop does not change the fee or the graduation target. The supply stays 1,000,000,000: a drop only leaves fewer tokens for the curve and the pool. The Create page shows the curve, pool and drop percentages.
- The snapshot block and the staker count are shown on the token page.
